Fashion brands delving into the home space is not new, but the looks emerging from these houses have been impressive. Fendi Casa has been in the game for a while. Their seating selections in particular have delivered luxurious bona fides—a selection of new sofas like the Embrace have all the finishes and high-end upholstery with reclining options. The curvaceous Fanny chair received an update this edition with a contrasting leather exterior (a house specialty), which is enhanced by subtle seaming. The sartorial influence is strong, but Fendi Casa also thinks about function: The steel base can be fitted with a swivel mechanism, so conversation isn’t static with the Fanny chair. The entire collection continues to surprise. This season the company turned out a slightly more romantic look with the Pastille coffee table by French designer Thierry Lemarie. A quad of petal-like pieces, this design saw brass sides topped with wood, though glass is also possible. It’s a chic entrant that paired well with the existing range.
